The Municipality of Uden, Area and IBN, initiators of the shared car concept, want to make sustainable carsharing for residents and companies in Uden obtainable and affordable.
By sharing their e-car fleet of BMW i3's, the municipality looks to cover the same number of kilometers with a significant reduction in number of e-cars needed. The cooperation Uden Duurzaam Op Weg was established for this purpose.
Both private drivers and companies participate making it a sustainable initiative both with regards to the environment as well as socially within the area.

For business as well as personal use
UDOW participants can choose from four subscriptions. The "free" subscription is a form of prepaid, where participants buy credit in advance. With the Start, Experience and Professional subscriptions participants pay a fixed amount each month in advance, for which they receive a number of 'credits', which can be exchanged for reservation time. In addition, € 0.18 per km is due to be paid.
Depending on whether participants need a car occasionally, regularly or often UDOW in conjuntion with Goodmoovs has developed a subscription model that is widely applicable for a variety of needs.
